Statement of diversity & inclusion
I am an active LGBTQ+ ally and welcome all genders and sexualities into my practice. I work within a framework which is anti-racist, anti-discriminatory and pro-neurodiversity. I acknowledge that I practice from my own frame of reference and engage in monthly supervision and regular personal and professional development to expand my learning and examine my own biases and assumptions.
Psychotherapy & supervision
I'm a qualified and highly experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in private practice, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). My special interest and experience is in supporting adolescents and young adults aged 13-30. I also work with adults, parent and child dyads, and occasionally younger children.
Books & publications
I've been writing for publication for 20+ years and am the author of around 250 publications. These encompass my knowledge and experience of psychotherapy, psychology, young people and modern life. I've written five books, three influenced by psychotherapy, as well as dozens of articles, columns, blogs, resources and reviews. I am the Editor of BACP Children, Young People & Families magazine and Reviews Editor for BACP Therapy Today.

​Events, presentations & podcasts
I'm a qualified 16+ teacher and regularly deliver presentations and facilitate workshops, sharing my therapeutic experience and my experience of writing for publication. I work with a diverse range of audiences, around the UK and online, and have been invited to speak with podcast hosts on a variety of themes.
